Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) are the important goods that consumers use in their daily activities. These products are otherwise known as consumer-packaged goods, thus, they include a range of products, such as food and beverages, healthcare, personal care, and other packaged goods. world’s new list of top FMCG companies in 2024 shows the food and beverages industry as the leading ones.

According to the data from the survey, Nestle and Pepsi are the leading FMCG companies in the world market. The data in the reports are based on the annual revenue of the companies. Experts cites that FMCG companies' growth is dependent on the consumers demand, distribution, and supply chain. However, consumers behavior and demand towards the products is the major factor behind the respective FMCG company’s growth. Hence, easy-going products like junk food and beverages companies are emerging as the top rankers. Experts claim that FMCG companies' main motto lies in their stability and diversification in the market. therefore, companies like nestle and Pepsi are gaining momentum among the consumer choices.

Experts note that food and beverage food have stable stock prices in the market due to consistent consumers demand for these products. Based on the world’s list of FMCG products, Nestle ranks as one, followed by Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and others. Nestle becomes the largest food and beverage FMCG company in the world in 2024 due to its commitment towards social responsibility and sustainability. Hence, consumers are aware of clean energy transition that makes them choose wisely those companies that address environmental issues.
