By Aarti Dhapte , 23 October, 2023

Google steps into its 15th year of success in September 2023; meanwhile, the company has announced some important updates on its Chrome. Recently, surveys have shown Google Chrome to be the leading web browser in 2023. Google is renovating Chrome in new ways and adding more features to the existing ones.

Google aims to build Chrome as a fast, secure, easy-to-access, and reliable web browser. Also, Chrome has achieved the fastest web browsers to load searches in benchmark tests in 2023. Google also integrated machine learning into Chrome for a more accessible browsing experience. With generative artificial intelligence in language models and other technical features, Google is progressing in business sectors. Therefore, on completion of 15 long years, Google is upgrading the look of Chrome on desktops along with other updates in 2023 that will reflect on the desktops in the coming weeks. According to Google's announcement, the company has refreshed Chrome's icons to make them neater and added colors to Chrome's color palettes that suit the user's toolbar and tabs. It will help to differentiate between the work profiles and personal accounts easily. Google has also incorporated Chrome with the operating system to adapt to specific changes like dark mode and others. It has also introduced changes that will benefit the users in numerous ways, like faster and easier access to extensions, Password Manager, and Google Translate. All these updates have been to Google Canary in 2023, but the new features are now available to regular users in the coming months.

Google has also upgraded its Chrome features for safe and efficient browsing. Searching with Chrome will be more efficient, allowing you to "Search this page with Google" while on a web page that leads to a side panel of related searches, making browsing more convenient. Also, Google Search can be pinned to the side panel of users' toolbar. With the safe browsing upgradations, Chrome provides artificial intelligence or AI Risk Assessment to identify extensions for businesses before utilization. Also, it helps with warning about dangerous sites and files, and the upgrade will help by checking sites against Google's recognized wrong sites simultaneously. Thus, Google believes that a new advancement in September 2023 has enhanced the protection from malware by 25 percent.
