China Prepares for the Large Scale Production of Humanoid Robots in 2023

By Aarti Dhapte , 07 December, 2023

Growth in artificial intelligence led to various developments to provide comfort and ease in consumers' daily lives. China is among the group of countries increasing the economy of nations with multiple innovations in the field of technology. Recently, China released guidelines for developing humanoid robotics in 2023.

China aims to mass-produce humanoid robots in two years from now till 2025. The set of rules and regulations published by the Chinese government aims at large-scale production of humanoid robots by 2025 with certain technological advances. These technologies are considered "brain, cerebellum, and limbs" to implement core supplements and their supplies safely. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the guidelines for humanoid robots' production. The MIIT document discusses the plans to build "globally influential" two to three ecological enterprises. The organization also plans to build more industrial development clusters that will aid in developing small and medium-sized enterprises. It will help China to grow as a global hub for advanced robotics by 2025. MIIT aims to enhance the robotics industry's innovation and technologies with various collaborations on research, high-quality development, and others.

The Chinese government is aiding billions in research and development, and several companies are also focusing on innovations in the field of technology. The country with advancement in the technical and robotic industry aims for global dominance in 2023. The nation's core energy for technical progress lies in the consumer's access to an unlimited data supply that provides the broader field for technological innovations.

China's new set of rules for developing humanoid robots aims to create human-like robots that can be deployed in service sectors. Humanoid robots at workplaces can help to enhance businesses. Therefore, researchers are working to develop sophisticated humanoid robots that can feel, think, and make decisions other than only speaking and writing features. Incorporating these features in the humanoid robots can take China's technology sector and work field to the next level by the end of 2025.
