By Aarti Dhapte , 18 October, 2023

With artificial intelligence (AI) shooting its branches in all sectors of the economy in 2023, along with big corporates, it has made its prominence better in the entertainment industry. In July 2023, Netflix recently created a job posting for a machine learning platform (MLP) product manager who can pay a salary of USD 300,000 to USD 900,000 per year.

The MLP position aims at designing the job role by enhancing the grasp of Netflix's specific program and utilizing artificial intelligence in all aspects, business, and user recommendations, among other things. The job description indicates that it will help create great content and develop new algorithms for movies and shows. Also, the company says that it will be using artificial intelligence to compute the production of original content and implementing those in the movies, web series, and others.

As artificial intelligence is one of the most sought-after skills in the field of technology, it is a tempting option for the tech companies and businesses, among others, to expand their study area for better earnings. Even some companies are creating jobs based on artificial intelligence to enhance performance by offering the best salaries, with six figures for the job. Based on a survey, it has been found that 91 percent of the recruiters are hiring people having a good knowledge of ChatGPT. Also, one out of four people says that in engineering, job seekers' salary with AI prompt degrees will exceed USD 200,000, and 17 percent of people view that it will exceed USD 300,000, as per the reports of 2023. Due to the growing need and prevalence of artificial intelligence in technology, AI skilled professionals are supposed to be hired soon. Companies like Walmart and Netflix are looking for AI-skilled ones nowadays.
