South America Consists of Highest Number of Chrome Users in 2023

Google is growing daily with its new advancements in different technology sectors. The company is implementing artificial intelligence (AI) for technical developments in its tools and services. Recently, according to a survey conducted for July-August 2023, Chrome is the most used web browser in the world.

A survey shows that the regional use of Google Chrome globally in 2023 shows South America has the highest number of Chrome users, with a 78.9 percent market share. It is followed by the African region and Asia with 71.5 and 72.2 percent market share for the July-August 2023, respectively. Europe and North America's worldwide market share of Chrome web users is comparatively less, with 58.6 and 53.1 percent, respectively. Thus, the data shows that Chrome is more prevalent in the South American region than in others. The United States Chrome market usage is less than North America marginally, with a rate of use of 51.7 percent for Chrome, followed by Apple Safari with 30.8 percent, and Microsoft Edge with 8.4 percent, among other internet browsers worldwide for July-August 2023. In India, the usage rate of Google Chrome is 88.2 percent, and in the South African region, the use rate is 70.47 percent.

For some countries, like North Korea, Apple Safari is the most used internet browser for July-August 2023, with the North Korean region reporting around 90.99 percent usage rate. In Armenia, Firefox is the leading web browser with 55 percent of the online population, followed by Chrome 31.9 percent in 2023. Thus, Google Chrome will also be the top internet browser worldwide in 2023. Based on survey results, Google's Chrome has left behind Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge to acquire first place in the list of most used web browsers worldwide in August 2023 reports. The data given by StatCounter reveals that Chrome has been used by 63.6 percent of web users globally between July and August 2023.
