Body Heat As A New Sources Of Renewable Energy

By Shubhendra Anand , 13 June, 2024

Renewable energy sources will multiply in the energy sector in 2024. The innovations regarding new sources of renewables are a compelling market strategy. It is because of the enhancement of green energy transformation with different substitutes to conventional energy sources. Researchers suggest that rather than depending on one source of renewables, it is better to find more clean energy sources for the longevity of net zero emissions in the future. Consequently, several green energy sources can accelerate the transformation process to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. In 2024, research found body heat to be the new, greener energy source.

Research finds that body heat can be preserved and utilized as energy in various cases. To limit carbon emissions and the use of traditional energy sources, 'body heat' can be an innovation in the green energy sector. Several countries worldwide are adopting new technologies for green energy transformation. The body heat method is one of them. This method can be used to warm buildings and houses without the need for conventional energy. This cutting-edge method suggests that the average human body can produce up to 100 to 120 watts of energy. This energy is dissipated in the form of heat. Hence, the lost heat from the human body can be utilized for energy generation. However, it is challenging to capture body heat. In popular culture, Sweden and Paris have recently adopted the body heat method to generate energy to keep places warm. Sweden uses the body heat method in the metro stations. Here, it is effective due to the number of people traveling and their body heat being transformed into a source to generate power.

Studies find the body heat generation method very effective in warming up urban places and buildings. It shows promising applications for wearable technologies as well. Hence, the body heat method should be considered a great alternative to conventional technologies.
