ChatGPT Turns Out To Be Most Liked AI Tools By The Users In 2023
By Aarti Dhapte , 12 June, 2023
After the release of ChatGPT in November 2022, AI tools have become the topic of discussion. More than a million people registered with ChatGPT within its release days.
Based on recent surveys, 20 percent U.S. respondents have already tried ChatGPT even before the survey was done in March and April 2023. Due to this reason, ChatGPT was ahead of other AI tools of its generation, such as GetGenie, and Jasper Chat, which is primarily designed to help users in text generation and copywriting. ChatGPT has impressed its users, for which 89 percent said they would use it again. As per the survey results, Midjourney, a powerful text-to-image generator, received the lowest scores; just 65 percent of users who used it earlier said they would return to the tool. Therefore, ChatGPT proves to be more user-friendly and most liked by users. It currently had 1.16 billion users in March 2023. The number of users depicts an increase of around 55 percent from February to March 2023. It has even managed to cross 1 million users within five days of its launch and reached 100 million users within two months.
ChatGPT is the first generative AI tool that reached mass adoption, giving millions worldwide knowledge of what large language models (LLM) can do. Other AI-based image generation tools, like DALL-E, got more attention but could not come so far in mainstream adoption as ChatGPT has.
