  February 2023: Hardy Diagnostics introduced the CompactDry TCR in February 2023. This dehydrated culture medium plate is readily usable and enables total aerobic plate counts within 24 hours, specifically for the detection and enumeration of microorganisms. AOAC PTM-certified (Association of Official Analytical Chemists - Performance Tested Methods), this self-diffusing plate eliminates the need for spreading or stamping, making it the simplest method to conduct plate counts. After incubating, simply remove the cover, dispense 1mL of sample into the center of the plate, and replace the lid. Additional workflow solutions offered by Hardy Diagnostics to accelerate the serial dilution and plate-counting processes include the LabRobot Dilugent Shaker, Wizard CompactDry reader, and many others.
