Parker Hannifin, a leader in motion and control technologies worldwide, has announced the release of its new AC20F drive controller through its Industrial Systems Division Europe. The modular drive was created specifically for hydraulic applications requiring motor control. As a result, it is also perfectly suited for usage in hydraulic pump systems with variable speeds, like the Drive Controlled Pump (DCP) offered by the company.
With multiple power levels ranging from 1.5 kW to 180 kW, the AC20F is currently accessible for a wide range of applications. The new drive controller is small in size, but it packs a lot of ready-integrated features, like the sensor-less vector mode for AC induction motor control. Hydraulic power units can also benefit from condition monitoring. Temperature, oil level, and filter condition are all automatically measured and, if needed, can result in a warning or even the application being stopped.

Bosch Rexroth is shortening delivery routes and increasing manufacturing capacity for the growing North American markets of factory automation and mobile hydraulics by opening a new plant in Querétaro, Mexico. By 2027, the company plans to have invested roughly 160 million euros in the new location and added about 900 jobs. The goal is to increase domestic production in order to better serve customers in the future and cater to the North American factory automation and hydraulics market.
In June, Bosch Rexroth started producing hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves for mobile equipment like excavators, forklifts, and tractors at its 42,000-square-meter facility in Querétaro. The business gets ready to increase the production of hydraulic components.
