The next midsize SUV from Tata Motors, the Curvv, will also be available with CNG in addition to ICE and electric drivetrains. The Curvv will most likely be able to use Tata Motors' most recent twin-cylinder CNG tank technology, which helps free up trunk space. Tata Motors has previously filed a patent application for this technology, which debuted on the Altroz CNG and is anticipated to appear on the Tiago and Tigor CNG as well. The availability of the split CNG tank on the Punch CNG has already been guaranteed, as it was showcased during the 2023 Auto Expo.

The Curvv EV is anticipated to include an all-wheel drive system with two motors and a 400–500 km range. The 1.2-liter direct-injection turbo-petrol engine of the Curvv will have 125 horsepower and 225 Nm, and it will be available with a manual or automatic gearbox.

May 2023

The top automotive manufacturer in India, Tata Motors, has unveiled the Altroz iCNG, the nation's first twin-cylinder CNG vehicle, for an initial price of INR 7.55 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, All-India).
