Top Industry Leaders in the 3D Food Printing Market
Strategies Adopted by 3D Food Printing Key Players
In order to further food security efforts through the use of Steakholder Foods' ground-breaking 3D printing technology, an accredited GCC-based governmental body and Steakholder Foods Ltd., an international deep-tech food company leading the cultivated meat industry, today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Agreement for Strategic Cooperation (MOA).
This week, the vegan flagship shop of Rewe Group, Billa Pflanzilla, in Vienna will introduce Revo Foods' whole-cut salmon fillet, which will be the first 3D-printed meat substitute to be sold in supermarkets. The business says this will happen in 2023. The mycoprotein-based salmon, which was developed in partnership with Sweden's Mycorena, uses cutting-edge extrusion technology to mimic the flakiness and juice fibres of traditional fish.
