Pune, India, March 28, 2018 /MRFR Press Release/- Market Research Future published a half cooked research report on Global Field Programmable Array Market.
Press Release Content
Field Programmable Gate Array is a device which can be configured as per the user requirement after placing in the circuit. FPGAs use hardware for processing logic and are connected to the internal circuit. FPGAs do not possess any operating system like processors; they operate through the logic circuits in which hardware runs the software application. As a result, the performance of one part is not affected by other. Control systems which are based on FPGA are capable of preventing entire input and output by forcing operator.
FPGAs are widely used in many areas like consumer electronics, automotive, telecommunications, data center applications, military & aerospace, and others. The telecommunication sector majorly dominates the market for field programmable gate array. Telecommunication acts as the backbone of any country's economic structure and stability. From earlier times, technologies like 2G, 3G and the present 4G technology are contributing majorly towards the growth of the country. Recent developments are being made in 5G services across all the geographical regions. Additionally, a significant rise in the internet penetration and advancement in network infrastructure are the factors fuelling the market growth.

FPGAs plays a key role in the area of data centers by speeding up computational workloads. FPGAs with large gate arrays, memory blocks, and fast IO are being suitable for a wide range of tasks. Microsoft Corporation, an American Multinational Technology Company, started using Altera FPGAs in their servers to run company’s neural networks. In June 2017, Microsoft initiated a project Brainwave which uses FPGAs in Azure services. The project is built on three main layers such as high performance distributed system architecture, hardware DNN (DotNetNuke) embedded with FPGA, compiler, and runtime for low friction deployment. By attaching high-end FPGA with data center network, DNN can be mapped into remote FPGAs which is commonly referred as no software in the loop.
Baidu, Inc., a Chinese multinational technology company is also working on FPGAs in its data center, and Amazon Web Services has already started offering EC2 F1 instances with Xilinx Virtex UltraScale+ FPGAs. Recently, Intel Corporation is aiming to make it easier for other businesses to use FPGAs as server accelerators.
Some of the key players in field programmable gate array market are XILINX INC. (U.S.), Intel Corporation (U.S.), Microsemi Corporation (U.S.), Achronix (U.S.), Teledyne e2v (U.K.), Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (U.S.), QuickLogic (U.S.), Atmel Corporation (U.S.), Nallatech (U.S.), Altera Corporation (U.S.), Tabula Inc.(U.S.), ARM Ltd.,(U.K), QuickLogic Corporation (U.S.), Samsung Electronics (South Korea), LG Electronics Inc. (South Korea) among others.
