By Indu Tyagi Ketan , 06 November, 2023

Google is developing its technologies day by day by adding new features and safety tools to its existing models in 2023. Recently, the company has developed ideas for integrating generative AI into its businesses and other sectors. It has also applied generative AI for language models in some countries, enhancing the technical features in others. Recently, in August 2023, Google Chrome is the leading internet browser in the world, and it has maintained its position for a long time, being at the top of the list.

Google Chrome is the leading web browser in the world in 2023. Google's Chrome was questioned in 2008 as to why it was a web browser upon its release. According to the company, building a web browser was on their long list. Google was already making billions of dollars annually and was beating Microsoft head-to-head. Eventually, Chrome developed, becoming the number-one browser globally in 2009. In 2023, Google Chrome has maintained its position at the top regarding browsers. Chrome is the topmost internet browser worldwide, with a global market share of 62.85 percent as of May 2023. According to a survey, six out of ten people prefer Chrome to browse the internet. Apple's Safari follows Google Chrome with a market share of 20.72 percent in 2023. Microsoft Edge and Opera placed third and fourth positions on the list, with a market share of 5.31 and 2.82 percent, respectively. These web browsers are followed by Mozilla's Firefox and Samsung with 2.77 and 2.5 percent, respectively, as of May 2023.

According to a survey, Google Chrome has a market share of 66.02 percent as the leading browser on desktops, and in the case of mobile phones, the market share is 61.09 percent. In the case of tablets, Chrome's usage is significantly less than the other devices, with 48.61 percent of the market share worldwide as of May 2023. Thus, Chrome has reached the highest milestone since March 2021 as it overcame Safari to become the leading web browser globally. Chrome has made life easier with its smoother web browsing platform for which web users are more likely to browse on Google's Chrome than other internet browsers in the industry. Web browsing ranges from online ticket bookings to retail shopping, and importantly, internet users find Google Chrome the safest option to browse. Chrome is developing gradually with its newest features, making the internet browser platform even more user-friendly and unique.
