April 2026: DuPont launched Inge™ ultrafiltration modules with integrated pre-filter (iP-F) for drinking water and seawater applications. The design combines pre-filtration and ultrafiltration in one module housing, reducing plant footprint and potentially lowering capital and operating costs. The modules are intended for new installations, plant expansions, and containerized systems.
April 2026: Toray Industries announced the planned launch of its F-HFUG Series ultrafiltration membrane module for wastewater reuse. The module uses a membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.005 micrometers, designed to reduce biofouling and help stabilize downstream reverse-osmosis membrane operation. Mass-production technology and product reliability evaluations had been completed ahead of the planned May 2026 launch.
April 2026: Ion Exchange (India) and MANN+HUMMEL entered a technology-transfer and manufacturing collaboration for PVDF ultrafiltration membranes with integrated UltraSKID systems in India. The agreement also includes a subsequent technology transfer for membrane bioreactor solutions, expanding local manufacturing capabilities for advanced UF membrane systems.
May 2026: SIEBEC acquired Polymem, a French manufacturer specializing in hollow-fiber membranes for microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration. The acquisition expanded SIEBEC's membrane manufacturing capabilities and brought Polymem's GIGAMEM UF240 ultrafiltration modules into the group's portfolio.
April 2026: AdiMem Technologies, a subsidiary of Vipul Organics, commenced commercial sales of its indigenously developed membranes and began plans for RO and ultrafiltration membrane manufacturing at its Sayakha, Gujarat facility. The company is targeting industrial sectors including chemicals and pharmaceuticals with its membrane products.
May 2025: Veolia Water Technologies secured more than $750 million in new water-technology contracts, including a $550 million U.S. semiconductor water-treatment project using next-generation ultrafiltration and reverse-osmosis membrane technologies. The facility is designed to recycle approximately 8,000 m³ of water per day. Veolia also secured offshore water-treatment contracts worth nearly $170 million, including projects using its ZeeWeed ultrafiltration membranes.
