Google to Introduce AI Chatbots Soon

By Aarti Dhapte , 09 May, 2023

Long debates are going on over the safety of artificial intelligence. As revealed by Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, the company has already planned to include the features of AI in its search engine soon.

Adding AI to Google will further enhance its capability to answer searches. Pichai dismissed the notion of chatbots posing a danger to the Google’s search business, which has more than half of the revenue at the parent company, Alphabet Inc. Alphabet made revenue of USD 162 billion from search ads in 2022.

The tech giant is now focusing on improving user experience on its search engine using the technology. A leader in developing computer programs called LLMs or large language models will process and respond like human prose. People can ask questions to Google and engage with LLMs regarding searches.

According to the reports, Google is testing many new search products. On public access to Bard, Google’s AI-based chatbot, the firm could not integrate into search engines, instead, it is offered through a stand-alone site. As reported, a virtual button will be there at the bottom of the product, which redirects users to the search engine of Google.
