HIMA Group, a German safety automation provider, purchased Norwegian technology startup Origo Solutions. The agreement took effect on 31 January after being signed on 8 January.

Origo Solutions has grown significantly with customers and business partners over many years. Moreld is glad that HIMA will continue Origo Solutions' growth, expanding on their longstanding cooperation. Jan Erik Rugland, Executive Vice President Moreld Group and departing Origo Solutions chairman, stated, “We are confident that this combination will benefit both customers and employees”.


In safety, automation, and instrumented systems for offshore and onshore facilities and comprehensive SCADA systems for the wind sector, Origo Solutions is a market leader. Origo Solutions has represented HIMA exclusively in Norway for over 20 years.
