    • March 2023: The Pathology Innovation Incubator will focus on developing methods and equipment for faster and more precise diagnosis of cancer and tumor lesions. It is a joint venture between 3DHISTECH of Hungary and Epredia, a member of PHC Group (headquartered in Japan). There was a press conference at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade where the opening was announced. The Pathology Innovation Incubator was established by Epredia and 3DHISTECH with the goal of creating and refining technologies that would transform tumor diagnosis and pave the way for more efficient cancer therapy. The Pathology Innovation Incubator will get backing from both Epredia and 3DHISTECH, in the form of funding and the pooling of expertise and resources. The Pathology Innovation Incubator was created and fully functional in under a year.

    • September 2022: A partnership between Ultivue, Inc., a market leader in multiplexing tools and novel image analysis solutions for tissue biomarker studies, and the Translational Research Unit (TRU) platform at the University of Bern, which creates novel workflows for tissue microarray construction, was announced in September 2022. The goal of the partnership is to advance multiplexed immunofluorescence (mIF) assays and the use of next-generation tissue microarrays (TMAs) to unlock spatial analysis Ultivue creates innovative products for usage in fields including mIF, imaging, and spatial phenomics. InSituPlex combines the strengths of computational pathology and spatial biology to direct translational research in immuno-oncology by allowing for rapid and thorough exploration of up to 12-plex biologically relevant targets in tissue samples using the same slide-H&E analysis.
