Telehandler Market
-
August 2023- Sany, a leading Chinese multinational heavy equipment manufacturing company, has announced the launch of two latest models, the midsize STH844A and the compact STH634A, in order to grow its telehandler lineup. During ConExpo 2023, Sany's senior director of engineering and product management, Craig Moslander, said that the company was entering the residential construction market with the goal of achieving smaller and more compact job sites. He highlighted that the new launches followed Sany's venture into the North American regional market for telehandlers back in 2020, launching the bigger STH1256A with a capacity of 12,000 pounds and STH1056A with a lifting capacity of 10,000 pounds. Both models had lift heights of around 56 feet. The recently launched STH634A now showed the company's tiniest telehandler, having a lift height of 34 feet 1 inch and the greatest lifting capacity of nearly 6,000 pounds. As for the STH844A, it was intended to manage loads of up to 8,000 pounds and had the highest lift height of 44 feet. In spite of differing sizes, all four models have common operating controls and features. The company's perspective remained consistent with a target of a "fully loaded is the new standard" concept. The CEO further stated that the company is growing its product range with the constant theme of all of its range. They have regulated the collection of fully loaded features across all Sany equipment, and there are conventional cabs for all the telehandlers. This completely makes a comprehensive range of products.
