Nov 2023: The top private healthcare provider in Egypt, Alameda Healthcare Group (Alameda), announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Varian, a Siemens Healthineers firm. Under the terms of the MoU, an Alameda location will serve as the Middle East and Africa's reference center for Varian products, promoting knowledge exchange amongst clinical staff members from different institutions in and outside of Egypt. Several important components will define this planned cooperation between Varian and Alameda, such as creating a roadmap specifically for medical radiation oncology and guaranteeing the availability and upkeep of Varian products, such as radiation oncology equipment.
