Feb 2023: The US Food and Drug Administration has granted medical technology company Stryker 510(k) clearance for their Q Guidance System with Cranial Guidance Software for cranial uses. An intraoperative and planning system based on images is the Q Guidance System. Our Cranial Guidance Software provides surgeons with strong imaging and guidance during cranial surgeries. Stryker introduced the Q Guidance System for spinal applications last September. It can be found on the market right now. According to Stryker, all medical disorders that are appropriate for computer-assisted planning and surgery can be treated with the Q Guidance System with Cranial Guidance Software. When stiff anatomy can be identified and referenced, it can also be used for surgical guidance.

Jan 2023: The privately held Biorez, Inc. has been acquired by CONMED Corporation, as previously stated. Based in New Haven, Connecticut, Biorez is a start-up company focused on medical devices that use its patented BioBrace® Implant technology to improve soft tissue healing. The BioBrace Implant is a novel bioinductive scaffold designed to promote healing by reinforcing soft tissue in areas of weakness. The FDA has approved BioBrace® for usage in a variety of product sizes. The business is using its current credit facility to finance the deal.
