  September 2023: The Portrait commerce; Flex CTC assay has been released by ANGLE plc, a major global provider of breakthrough circulating tumor cell (CTC) diagnostic products for the research and diagnostic oncology industry. The test is performed by a specialized team with over 10 years of expertise in CTC analysis and is offered as a service from ANGLE's Onc-ADaPT™ GCP-compliant facilities. Portrait Flex is used to count and characterize CTCs that have been caught and harvested utilizing ANGLE's Parsortix® technology.

  July 2023: To identify the expression of the Delta-Like Ligand 3 (DLL3) protein in tumor cells circulating in the blood, Menarini Silicon Biosystems (MSB), a leader in liquid biopsy and single cell technologies, has released their new CELLSEARCH CTC lab service in the month of July 2023. The majority of tumors that display this biomarker are particularly hard to cure. The new MSB lab service paves the way for the creation of further non-invasive tests that take use of biomarkers' prognostic and predictive significance in healthcare settings with significant unmet needs.

  April 2023: Epic Sciences, Inc., a privately held diagnostics firm, has raised a total of $67 million in the previous twelve months after completing a $24 million Series G fundraising in April 2023. This follows a $43 million Series F investment. In order to market the three tests that make up DefineMBC and deliver a full blood-based biopsy result for patients with metastatic breast cancer, the business has raised further private funding. Investors such as Blue Ox Healthcare Partners, Domain Ventures, and Labcorp joined Deerfield Management and Arsenal Capital Partners in leading the investment.
