Cognizant, a global systems integrator, has announced intentions to buy Bright Wolf, an Amazon Web Services and Microsoft industrial IoT affiliate that supplies to big companies including Caterpillar. Bright Wolf, headquartered in Durham, N.C., will lead a new IoT engineering lab at the Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Research Triangle founded by Cognizant as a result of the purchase, according to the Teaneck, N.J.-based firm. The deal's financial terms were not disclosed. Cognizant announced plans to buy Microsoft partners 10th Magnitude and Modern Signature only a few weeks back.
