Visteon Corp., a multinational supplier of automotive cockpit electronics, has agreed to buy AllGo Systems, a maker of embedded multimedia system solutions for global vehicle manufacturers. The deal is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2016, subject to usual final account and regulatory requirements. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. AllGo is an infotainment media playback supplier based in Bangalore, India, with expertise in Linux and Android technology for vehicle industries, as well as a broad intellectual property (IP)-protected range of in-vehicle infotainment for the connected display audio industry.
