The Latest Trends in Nachos Business

Nachos are one of the most popular food items on the planet. Sadly, because of their popularity, they've also fallen victim to a lot of food trends and gimmicks — and it's been hard to know which innovations will actually last. Well never fear! Here are 5 current nacho trends and best places that serve them that you can feel good about trying.

Innovative Toppings and Sauces - For sure, everyone loves nachos and the toppings that come with it. But due to unoriginality in terms of the ingredients used, such as cheese and salsa, some people get bored eating this snack. If you're one of them, then worry no more because we're here to rescue you from that boredom! There are plenty of new flavors you can try for your next nachos cravings.

1) Ponce City Market – Brought to you by the experts at Atlanta's newest food destination, Urban Cookhouse shares a recipe for Korean-inspired Nachos with spicy pork, kimchi, gochujang mayo and scallions. The recipe beats the traditional with a Korean twist.

2) Flavors – From sweet spaghetti and meatballs to spicy buffalo chicken wings, Flavors offers a variety of delicious nacho recipes that you can make right at home. The only tricky bit is making the homemade tortilla chips but they offer a fantastic recipe for making homemade flavored tortilla chips so that you can make these unique nacho recipes right at home. The instructions use corn tortillas but we think that they'd work just as well with flour tortillas!

3) Nacho House – Although it is impossible to say that there is one right way to make nachos, we do know one thing…it shouldn't be served in a bowl! Nacho House has brought back the traditional nacho plate with their multiple locations and they've taken it a step further with their "Super Nachos." These giant platefuls of deliciousness offer many great varieties, such as the "Beefy Fiesta" and "Buffalo Chicken."

4) The Broadmoor – The historic Broadmoor hotel in Colorado Springs offers three nacho dishes that are perfect for dinner or lunch. We suggest trying any one of the combinations offered.  The "Original" and the "Smoked Sausage nacho" are both good choices. If you can't decide, go with everything on its own! They offer a variety of different salsas and guacamole options, as well.

5) Pizzeria Locale – Nachos are definitely a "bargain," so we're sure that Nachos at Pizzeria Locale won't break the bank…unless you didn't set your cash register to swipe-and-go. They offer three premium toppings for just seven dollars and you can mix and match three toppings to create your own delicious custom nacho.

If you're not a fan of the ordinary way of consuming this snack, then you're in luck! There are tons of variations that will surely make you add this to your favorite list. For instance, this new restaurant in town, Crunchipino, serves their nachos in a different way. They don't come as a single dish right off the bat; instead, they come as layers built on top of each other! Your job is to mix and match your favorite toppings until you get the combination that suits your taste buds.
