By Indu Tyagi Ketan , 21 February, 2023

India will host the G20 summit 2023 from 9th to 10th September 2023 in Delhi. One Earth, One Family, One Future is the motto for the G20 Summit 2023. The motto is derived from the Sanskrit text "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam."

The participants of the G20 summit 2023 Delhi are Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, India, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United States, United Kingdom, The European Union of the nation. All the countries are to remain present in the G20 summit 2023 Delhi.

Over 200 G20-related meetings across the country will be held during its presidency of the grouping from December 1, 2022, and will end on November 30, 2023. As per the reports, the G20 leaders’ summit will be held on September 9th and 10th in 2023 in Delhi, and Egypt, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Oman, Nigeria, Singapore, the UAE, and Spain will be the "guest countries" at the event, as announced by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on September 13.

Along with Indonesia and Italy, India is part of the troika of the G20 summit. This is the first time the troika would include three developing countries and emerging economies, allowing them to raise their voice, according to the reports.

The priorities of the upcoming summit are "firmed up," and discussions will be about "women empowerment, health, agriculture, tourism, education, climate financing, education, circular economy, energy security, global food security, disaster risk reduction and resilience, green hydrogen, fight against economic crime and multilateral reforms."

The ongoing crisis in Ukraine will be a significant challenge to the G20 session in India. This crisis has violated the relationship between Ukraine and Russia and the industrialized nations of the west, which are members of the G20, representing 85 percent of global GDP and 75 percent of international trade.
