Hubbard-Hall purchased the assets of BioConversion Technology (BCT), a provider of associated chemicals and biologics for the treatment of wastewater. BCT products are customized mixtures of carefully chosen bacterial strains used in the food, petrochemical, metal finishing, and pulp and paper industries. The bacteria do not harm pipes or wastewater equipment because they operate in both aerobic and anaerobic environments without the presence of caustics or acids.
As regulations pertaining to phosphorus, FOG, and BOD continue to tighten, bioaugmentation is becoming more prevalent in the treatment of wastewater used in metal finishing. In order to better assist its clients in the water and wastewater pipe industry, Hubbard Hall now offers a wider range.

In addition to building on the success of its current Murphy Pipeline Contractors business, an industry leader in drinking water infrastructure rehabilitation, the D&D acquisition broadens PURIS's self-perform capabilities and generates savings for its clients.
