The Vertical Inline Long Coupled "KW-LC" Pumps, the newest offering from Kirloskar Brothers Limited, will add to their ever-expanding portfolio in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning market. The compact and space-saving KW-LC pump features a vertical, long-coupled design that streamlines piping.

For a variety of applications, including water supply, HVAC, hot water up to 90°C, drinking water, and cooling water applications, the KW-LC pump is the perfect choice. Its delivery sizes reach up to 200 mm, its maximum working pressure is 16 bar, its discharge capacity reaches up to 550 m³/hr (150 LPS), and its total head reaches up to 52 metres. High efficiency, broad range of interchangeability, and total reliability are the main design goals of the pump.

Smooth operation is ensured by the enclosed, dynamically balanced impeller of the KW-LC pump. According to Euro design standards, this pump's Minimum Efficiency Index is greater than or equal to 0.7.

The acquisition of Wasco, a prominent distributor of HVAC products and services in the Netherlands, by Rexel is aimed at expanding its European footprint and capitalising on the rapidly expanding electrification market.

Opportunities relating to the energy transition will become available to Rexel with the acquisition of Wasco. Businesses looking to cut emissions and government incentive programmes should also contribute to the resilience of those markets, which, like Wasco's HVAC business, are driven by corporate agendas to reduce emissions as well as photovoltaic solutions, industrial automation, and EV charging solutions. These markets' growth is significantly faster than Rexel's in other markets.
