    • August 2023: Cardinal Health has recently introduced NTrainer™ System 2.0, an advanced medical device specifically engineered to facilitate the expeditious development of oral coordination skills in premature and newborn infants. These skills are critical for accelerating the transition to independent feeding, thereby potentially shortening the duration of their stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). By utilizing real-time assessment technology, the NTrainer™ System furnishes clinicians with impartial data required to monitor an infant's development of pre-feeding skills. Simultaneously, it instills confidence in parents regarding their children's future well-being and potential for success following discharge. Non-nutritive suction (NNS), a critical pre-feeding skill, is enhanced in neonates and preterm infants by the NTrainer™ System. The safe transition from feeding tubes to breast or formula, a critical developmental milestone for preterm neonates, is contingent upon NNS. This is a recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics and a criterion for discharge from the NICU.

    • June 2023: AngelEye Health, a prominent provider of family engagement solutions for neonatal and pediatric intensive care units in hospitals, declared its intention to augment its Family Engagement Platform with Empower, an automated Care Pathway designed to assist caregivers and families in navigating their NICU sojourn more efficiently and providing support throughout their child's at-home care journey. In order to facilitate the development of this automated patient voyage, AngelEye has forged a strategic alliance with UbiCare, an industry leader in digital patient education and engagement programs. As per the stipulations of the agreement, AngelEye shall capitalize on UbiCare's proficiency and track record of effectively involving patients through the timely delivery of pertinent health information throughout their care continuum.
