November 2023- OMRON Robotics and Safety Technologies, Inc. and Lowpad BV have formed a strategic alliance to grow OMRON's product range of mobile robots by adding Lowpad's low-profile offerings. OMRON is a top company in the Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) market, providing industrial customers with a wide selection of payload capacities from 60 kg to 1500 kg. At the same time, Lowpad has become a premier provider of low-profile mobile robots for retail and logistics applications. Lowpad's robots have profiles ranging from 80 to 130 mm with built-in lift functions, enabling automation of manual transportation of racks, trollies, and pallets across many industries.


October 2023- Continental has purchased KINEXON's specialized division that develops onboard operating systems to intelligently control autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
