A deal has been reached between Lummus Technology and Air Liquide Engineering & Construction to obtain the rights to licence and market ester grade acrylic acid technology as well as light and heavy acrylates process technology. Lummus Technology is a global provider of process technologies and value-driven energy solutions. With this expansion, Lummus can now offer its customers more choices between upstream and downstream operations for propylene production and derivative products.
The acquired technology produces the lowest carbon footprint in the industry and lowers capital requirements while converting propylene into ester grade acrylic acid.
