  August 2023: The Flexcera line of resins is now available on the Carbon Digital Manufacturing Platform thanks to a partnership between Desktop Health, a brand of Desktop Metal, and Carbon, a pioneer in the oral health additive manufacturing field. As a result of this partnership, 3D-printable nanoceramic resin, beginning with Flexcera Smile Ultra+, is now available for use in fabricating long-lasting dental prostheses. With its remarkable durability, natural appearance, and long-lasting performance, the Flexcera Smile Ultra+ resin is an important step forward in digital dentistry, complementing the soon-to-be-released Flexcera Base. More than three years were spent in R&D before Flexcera Smile Ultra+ was released. The resin's secret recipe calls for a powerful 385 nm wavelength to polymerize its manufactured long-chain chemistry.

Dental practitioners may 3D print up to ten fixed dentures in 30 minutes using OnX Tough 2 and the SprintRay ecosystem. The use of implants to anchor permanent hybrid dentures makes them far more stable and functional than traditional removable dentures.
