International Flavours & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) plans to introduce Nurica to the US market in 2021. Nurica, which is sold under the Danisco brand of food solutions, uses the lactose in milk to produce a large amount of prebiotic galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) fibres organically. The ingredient adds natural milk clean notes and balanced sweetness while lowering lactose and sugar levels.

With the release of a new "one-stop-shop" enzyme in 2020, Royal DSM is expanding its lactase offering to include lactose-free normal and organic dairy products. Like the other excellent lactases from DSM, it helps producers provide the desired low sugar alternatives. According to the Dutch multinational, the introduction of Maxilact Super lactase enzyme enables dairy producers to produce premium, clean-tasting, lactose-free, and sugar-reduced dairy products.Dairy Enzymes Company
