Capnography is a medical monitoring technique that measures the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in respiratory gases. Capnography is commonly used in healthcare settings, especially during anesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine. Companies involved in capnography provide devices and systems designed to measure and monitor end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) levels.

Feb 2023 Using the EchoPixel 4D holographic technology, CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center became the first location to implant the PASCAL Precision Valve Repair technology commercially. The operation was performed to fix a leaky mitral valve without requiring open cardiac surgery. According to CentraCare, long-term data indicates that the new approach can ease symptoms like leg edema and dyspnea and lower the number of heart failure hospitalizations. CentraCare was the first in the world to perform cardiac surgery with the EchoPixel device in June 2021. They used it for the first time, without open heart surgery, in July 2022 to remove a heart tumor.
