    • Oct 2023: The next-generation EVIS X1TM endoscopy system from Olympus Corporation, a global medical technology company dedicated to improving people's lives through health, safety, and fulfillment, was launched into the market. It will be showcased and given a demonstration through the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada. Two compatible endoscopes, the CF-HQ1100DL/I colonovideoscope suggested for use within the lower part of the intestines and the GIF-1100 gastrointestinal videoscope recommended for use within the upper digestive tract, were cleared earlier this year along with the EVIS X1 endoscopic system. These endoscopes, which are 10% lighter than the previous generation made by Olympus, are made to be more comfortable for users and easier to handle with small hands thanks to their ErgoGrip control portion.

    • Oct 2023: Thermo ScientificTM MeridianTM EX System, an electron-beam-based failure analysis tool designed to enable exact fault localization on modern semiconductor logic technologies, has been introduced by Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in servicing science. Manufacturers of semiconductors are expanding the capabilities of current failure analysis tools by using increasingly intricate architectures to produce higher-performing, more energy-efficient semiconductors. While optical fault isolation tools are still applicable for standard semiconductors, new methods are needed for sophisticated logic devices to isolate and detect tiny electrical flaws that could be completely hidden by metal interconnects on the front and back of the device. An electron beam is used by Thermo Fisher's innovative Meridian EX System to probe the test object.
