A new product called Sperto is set to emerge in 2023 by SWAL Corporation Ltd. It is intended for use with Indian cotton and soybean crops. Sperto is a combination of 25% Acetamiprid and 25% Bifenthrin Wettable Granules (WG) that quickly dissolves in water. Sperto is an affordable solution that promotes environmentally friendly farming practises because of its lower dose required per acre. Better air and soil quality result from the WG formulation, which guarantees easy handling and eliminates the risk of spilling, drift, or dust accumulation during application.

Protein Industries Canada is funding a new venture in 2021 that will create and market soybean protein components. Ingrédients Protéiques du Canada (CPI-IPC), Synthesis Network, Agrocorp Processing, DJ Hendrick International, and Canada Protein components have joined forces on this endeavour to produce clean label protein components from soybeans cultivated in Canada. Protein Industries Canada will invest CAD 7.3 million, or around $5.8 million, to the project, which has received commitments of approximately CAD 20 million (or $16 million) from CPI-IPC and the consortium members. Together, the partners will create a patented process for making soybean oil and protein ingredients that meet organic and non-GMO labelling requirements.

The launch of TruVailTM, a new range of domestically produced, non-GMO plant-based protein ingredients with special sustainability benefits, was announced today by Benson Hill, Inc., a food innovation business that is unleashing the genetic diversity of plants in 2023. High protein soy flour, a less processed version of soy protein concentrate (SPC), and texturized proteins are among the first products offered by the TruVailTM brand. These products are intended for widespread usage in both the rapidly expanding alternative plant-based protein markets and traditional soy protein applications.
