  Jan 2023: To introduce medical alert solutions based on Android and iPhone in Australia, FallCall Solutions has announced an international partnership with HSC Technology Group. This partnership will allow the FallCall app on an iPhone or Android device to be linked with the HSC Talius Smart Care System and next-generation Bluetooth medical alert devices. The medical alarm will sound an assistance call when a fall is identified. The user's mobile phone can be linked to 24-hour response partners nationwide through this call. If assistance is needed, it will be sent when the situation has been assessed. This partnership gives senior citizens nationwide access to emergency response services from any location. According to FallCall Solutions, thanks to this connectivity, older people will have more freedom.

  Mar 2023: For those wishing to install smart security systems independently, Google and ADT now provide a combined solution, three years after Google's $450 million investment in the former. Google Nest devices, such as its video doorbell and indoor and outdoor cameras, will now be able to interact with ADT's Self Setup system, which was introduced last month. Although ADT has provided professionally-installed packages with Google's smart home devices since shortly after the investment, this is the first time the two firms have offered a full software security integration for a do-it-yourself offering. Now, in addition to using the ADT app, users can control ADT's sensors and Google's cameras straight from the Google Home app or a Google Nest Hub. One can arm and disarm the system using a Nest hub (second-gen or Nest Hub Max).
