With its headquarters located in Ulm, Germany, Wieland has acquired Farmers Copper Ltd., a 1980-founded supplier of bronze, copper, and brass alloys with two operational locations in Texas City, Texas, and San Antonio. The deal ended on July 10.

According to Wieland, Farmers Copper boasts a robust and enduring clientele in the oil and gas, electrical, aerospace, marine, and defense sectors. According to Wieland, the company sets itself apart with its delivery performance, custom processing capabilities, and service.

According to Wieland, the business will be incorporated into the Wieland Metal Services business unit's network of service centers. Wieland will bolster its substantial market presence and reach in North America with the purchase of Farmers Copper Ltd. Its expanding clientele will gain from a greater selection of premium products and first-rate customer support.

Wieland has acquired Heyco Metals and National Bronze Manufacturing. In addition to gaining control of Hummock Industries, Wieland also acquired Heyco Metals, a leader in the processing of light and medium gauge copper, copper alloy, and stainless steel strips, and National Bronze, a manufacturer and distributor of bronze-based bearing products.

The holding company Hummock Industries, which is family-owned, specializes in long-term investments in North American manufacturing companies. These complementary operations, which increase Wieland's product offerings, manufacturing capacity, and North American distribution networks, will strengthen its market position.

For clients in a wide range of industries, National Bronze is a well-known US manufacturer and distributor of bronze bushings, bearings, and other industrial components. They also run a metal service centre with a variety of non-ferrous metal bar stock.

Major market players, including Farmers Copper Ltd, Advance Bronze Incorporated, Wieland Metals Inc, Materion Corporation, Aviva Metals, and others, are attempting to increase market demand by funding R&D initiatives.
