September 2023- The Ministry of Agriculture lately signed a deal with Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association for setting up a fish farming & aquaponics facility within the Northern Jordan Valley. This project aims in targeting fresh graduate engineers thereby adding that the UN Food & Agriculture Organization or FAO will provide a grant of about up to $75,000 as a part of this agreement, as per reports. Above all the projects will offer qualification opportunities and training for a long list of new graduate engineers as well as including direct & indirect job opportunities.

August 2023- A novel aquaponics facility is all set to fuse philanthropic spirit with innovations as it opens its doors during this fall. Healthy Harvest educational center & aquaponics production facility has been scheduled to be opened this September. This will be adjoining to the Healthy Harvest Food Bank that serves 6 countries in the Northern Neck of Virginia and also Upper Middle Peninsula. This facility is likely to house a 2000 sq foot advanced classroom and also an 11,700 sq ft aquaponics production space for growing top-notch quality vegetables and fish & educate visitors about the significance of sustainable agriculture and fresh food.

February 2022- Sikkim government has launched a modern farming technique in February 2022. In fact they believe that advanced farming techniques such as rooftop farming, aquaponics and hydroponics can improve the quality and productivity of crops. The advanced technology will boost production in small private farmlands too leading in financial perks for farmers.
