Impact of COVID-19 on the Global Throat Lozenges Market

The company has also started providing online delivery of its products across England. 


Throat lozenges are sold in bulk and are low cost compared to other medicinal alternatives for the treatment of sore throat caused due to respiratory infections or a common cold. These are available in different flavors and are Over-the-Counter (OTC) products, making it easily available to thepatients. Also, throat lozenges do not require any prescriptions at the time of purchase, resulting in the fast commercialization of the product. The ease of availability of these products aids in driving the market, due to a rise in at-home treatment of sore throat and cough.


However, there is no proven or approved medication or vaccine developed which can be used in the treatment of COVID-19. Therefore, people can take precautionary measures using throat lozenges to lower the risk of COVID-19 infection.
